Dr. Jorge Brasil is a physician with more than 20 years of experience across Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Market Access in the pharmaceutical industry, contributing commercial-medical strategy to PHP Biotech’s Advisory Board.

Board-certified in Medical Affairs, Dr. Brasil holds a Master’s Degree in Sciences from Federal Fluminense University and board certifications in both Pulmonology and Intensive Care Medicine. His formal training combines internal medicine with deep expertise in pulmonary and critical care medicine, complemented by an MBA in Marketing from Getúlio Vargas Foundation — a background that uniquely pairs scientific credibility with commercial and cross-functional leadership. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Brasil has contributed to medical education as a faculty member in Pharmacology at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and in Physiology at University Center of Serra dos Órgãos, enriching his understanding of how scientific knowledge translates across clinical, educational, and commercial contexts. In practice, this means he understands both how a therapy is evaluated clinically and how it is positioned, communicated, and made accessible to prescribers, payers, and patients.
