About Eduardo

Dr. Eduardo Braun is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with more than 20 years of U.S. experience, contributing frontline oncology insight to PHP Biotech’s Executive Committee.

Dr. Braun earned his medical degree at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He is board-certified in medical oncology and hematology and has a focus on solid tumors. Practicing in the greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana region, he is a co-director of Powers Health hospital system’s clinical research program and an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

His clinical perspective is directly valuable to a company developing a therapy for triple-negative breast cancer and other aggressive tumors: Dr. Braun understands, at the bedside, the unmet needs of patients with limited options, and can help ensure that PHP53-nb’s development is anchored to real clinical relevance and endpoints that matter to practicing oncologists and patients.
